Synopsis

The Twelve is a character-driven crime mystery that revolves around a people's jury in a murder trial. Twelve citizens are called up for jury duty on a controversial murder case. They do not have an easy task ahead of them: they will need to decide on the guilt or innocence of a respected headmistress who stands accused of two murders.

The trial is not only decisive for the headmistress’ fate. The lives of the jury members also take new turns during this sensational murder case. As time goes by, the murder trial becomes a trial not only for the accused but also for the jury members themselves.
