Roller Jam

Synopsis

A first-of-its-kind series, Roller Jam finds ten of the best roller-skating dance crews from all over the United States squaring off for a chance to win a grand prize of $150,000 and a generous donation to the rink of their choice.

With each episode covering a different decade – from the 1960s onward – the teams must choreograph a winning routine using music and moves true to that period – or face the dreaded “elimi-skate.”

Highlights

Roller Jam (8x60), produced by Nikki Boella (America’s Got Talent, Rhythm + Flow) and Brian Lando (A Very Brady Renovation).

The US version, hosted by Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum singer/songwriter and actress Jordin Sparks, with two-time U.S. Olympian and national figure skating champion Johnny Weir and roller-skating legend Terrell Ferguson serving as judges, will be the first-ever televised national roller dancing competition.
